The Willowdale Steeplechase is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Kennett Square, PA. Our mission is to raise funds for clean water and veterinary excellence. Through donations to Stroud Water Research Center and The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine’s New Bolton Center, the Willowdale Steeplechase helps to further the stewardship of our natural resources and educate the next generation of large animal veterinarians.

Through our support of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine’s (Penn Vet) New Bolton Center, we are committed to fueling excellence in advanced large animal veterinary care here in our Chester County community – and beyond.
Renowned for accelerating clinical capabilities in equine surgery and medicine, Penn Vet’s New Bolton Center handles nearly 7,000 inpatient large animal cases annually, offering cutting-edge expertise in more than 15 advanced clinical and diagnostic service specialties. In addition, New Bolton Center’s ambulatory Field Service treats more than 25,000 patients across 2,800 square miles, delivering essential on-farm preventative health care, reproductive services, and around-the-clock emergency services.
